The immersive experience based on James Cameron’s universe lands in Europe for the first time with a premiere full of familiar faces.

On November 26, Espacio Delicias became the gateway to Pandora with the premiere of Avatar: The Experience. Inspired by James Cameron’s award-winning cinematic masterpiece, this long-awaited immersive experience —which has already captivated over 2.6 million visitors worldwide— arrives in Europe for the first time, touching down in Madrid with a visual and technological showcase that brings the world of Avatar closer than ever.

 

 

Designed with interactive technology, animatronics, and cutting-edge scenic design, the experience invites visitors to explore Pandora through nine immersive zones. The journey begins at the Pandora Research Foundation Welcome Center, before moving through the bioluminescent forests, the breathtaking Tree of Souls, and close encounters with the iconic banshees. In the RDA Biotechnology Pavilion, science and imagination merge to show what it might be like to transform with Na’vi traits. A journey for all ages, it combines unforgettable environments with a profound message about the connection between people and nature.

 

 

Behind this visual spectacle lies a long-standing creative effort. The LETSGO creative team —led by our Creative Director Ana María Voicu— developed, together with Disney and NEON, all the audiovisual and visual material for the experience worldwide. Thanks to Disney’s trust, this project was crafted collaboratively, shaping an immersive proposal that translates the Avatar universe into a unique and sensory exhibition language.

 

 

The premiere kicked off at 5:00 PM with a photocall attended by actors, artists, celebrities, and influencers. Among the guests were Javier Cámara, Pablo Meixe, Okuda San Miguel, Chelo, Desirée Cervera, Bárbara Gant, Kino Jerez, and Agoney, who posed for photos and shared their excitement about discovering this new journey into Pandora. After the photos, attendees —many accompanied by their families— immersed themselves in the worlds and landscapes that define the Avatar universe.

The evening concluded in the venue’s catering tent, offering the perfect setting to exchange impressions, comment on favorite moments, and toast the arrival of this limited-time experience in Madrid.

Espacio Delicias: Madrid’s Hub for Immersive Experiences

As a venue, Espacio Delicias once again proves why it has become Madrid’s premier destination for interactive experiences and immersive entertainment. In recent years, the venue has hosted some of the most innovative projects in the cultural scene, combining large capacities, technical versatility, and programming that embraces unconventional formats. Internationally acclaimed productions have passed through its halls, including Harry Potter™: The Exhibition, in collaboration with Warner Bros., and Squid Game: The Experience, alongside Netflix. This trajectory continues with Jurassic World: The Experience, already open to the public, and the recently inaugurated Avatar: The Experience. Its theatrical programming has also included major titles such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Kinky Boots, and School of Rock.

Its ability to transform —from a musical to a technological exhibition or an XXL event— has established Espacio Delicias as one of the city’s most dynamic and recognizable cultural hotspots.
